What is the 4expats Reading Room?

The Reading Room is the public library of 4expats. It opens with Issue 01: four pieces on who to trust when you arrive, the loneliness of the right people, the three ways to hold the door, and what community intelligence is. It is free to read and needs no signup.

How does 4expats match you to partners?

By cultural affinity: language, background and the communities you belong to. Partners surface because members who share your context vouched for them, never because they paid for placement.

What is the 4expats trust ladder?

Three rungs. Listed means a partner exists and was added by a human. Verified means licences, credentials and references were checked. Community-Trusted is earned only when cultural communities vouch, and it is the one rung 4expats does not control or sell.

Is the Reading Room free?

Yes. Every piece in the Reading Room is free to read, with no signup and no paywall. Your seat is free too, and founding members keep a founding badge for life.
